In Hong Kong, construction and renovation projects use lightweight bamboo scaffolding, the sole material strong enough to endure the city's annual powerful typhoons. To prevent dust and debris from dropping onto the streets, this scaffolding is covered with a transparent mesh, forming a massive yet fragile covering around the skyscrapers and creating a surreal urban landscape throughout the city.

Hong Kong, 2018.
